Welcome to our post. We welcome all of our Veterans, their families, and also the general public. We are open Thursday and Friday from 6 pm to midnight, and Saturdays from 6 pm to 1 am. We also hold our members meetings the second Tuesday of every month at 6:30 PM.

Mural and Stage

This is our beautiful mural depicting some of the significant military events that our members and former members participated in throughout history. This is also the stage where we have karaoke on Thursdays and Fridays from 8 pm until close. Come join us for some karaoke fun!

Memorial Day Ceremony

Join us on May 27, 2024 at 11AM to honor our fallen comrades. The ceremony will be held at the Rusk County Memorial Post 8535 located at 2319 State Highway 64, Henderson.

As yesterday's defenders of freedom, we want to welcome today's military service members into our ranks to become part of our elite group.  Our common bond is the battlefield, whether it is service in Vietnam, the Persian Gulf, Iraq, Afghanistan, Korea, the war on terrorism or peace-keeping expeditionary campaigns. Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
 
The Rusk County Memorial VFW recently relocated to our new building at 2319 State Highway 64 in Henderson, Texas.  We are working on building up our membership and resuming our community outreach programs.  If you are a local Veteran, family member of a Veteran or would just like to help out, come visit us.
 
We are open to the public Thursday and Friday from 6 pm to midnight, and Saturday from 6 pm to 1 am.  Our monthly meetings are held the second Tuesday of the month starting at 6:30 pm.  Join us and learn more about what we do.
